The only way to rid yourself of prejudice is to see people through the eyes of Jesus.
Prejudice is the barrier that keeps one person from accepting another. Racial prejudice is an obvious example,but there are many cultural, economic, and social prejudices as well. Whatever the distinction, if it creates a barrier between you and others, then you may be struggling with prejudice.
Jesus was unaffected by racial,social,and cultural barriers. He wanted to share His message about God's love with everyone. That is why He ignored social differences and began talking with the Samaritan women,who not only had a bad reputation but was also a member of a despised race (John 4:4-26).He ignored economic and moral differences when He visited the home of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10).
Let Jesus be your example . Stop looking at the differences between yourself and others. See people through the eyes of Jesus, as those who need to know God's love.
