What's Left After Death?

Be more concerned with the legacy you'll leave to your children than the inheritance you'll receive from your parents.
Your tombstone is likely to be engraved with the year of your birth and the year of your death (such as 1948-2027).On that grave marker, the sum of your life will be represented by the hyphen that separates the two dates. But the impact of your life is not relegated to the etchings on a tombstone. The heritage that you leave behind will be the influence you had on others.
Many people worry about the assets that they will leave for their children. But assets can be squandered, or, or stolen. Wouldn't you prefer to leave your friends and family with something of eternal, everlasting value? Leave  them an example of a life committed to God. Let your legacy be reverence for God.
I could have no greater joy than to hear
that my children live in the truth.
3 JOHN 4
