Turkey / Cranberries

Ray and I went up town to take care of some business and we stopped at Hannford they had turkeys on sale . 49 a pound so we got a 22 pound one and then we got some cranberries.. I like to have them on hand they were on sale for $1.99 a pound I paid $2.50 I think a couple of weeks ago and these are local... Yahoo that is even better.. They are from Rickers Farm.. Not far from here they have a couple of cranberry bogs..

  3. Blessings!
Do you string your cranberries? I do 2 things with mine, aside from fresh cooking them for Thanksgiving supper. I string them with popcorn to adorn our Christmas Tree (not sure if you do a tree for Christmas) and the other is we dry them in our dehydrator. It is so nice to have them to throw into muffin batter or Johnny Cakes :) Wish we could find them as cheap as that though :s

    God be with thee!
