1 envelope gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 pint boiling water
1/2 cup mild vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 cup sugar
pinch of salt
2 cups celery chopped fine
1 cabbage, chopped
2 pimentos,minced
Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Add boiling water, vinegar, lemon, sugar and salt;stir till dissolved. Mix in vegetables and pour into molds;Chill until firm. Unmold and serve on lettuce leaves with your favorite dressing or pass a bowl of mayonnaise. This salad makes a pretty addition to your meal.
NOTE YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE A MOLD
