THINKING AND DOING

It's one thing to know what 's right, and another thing entirely to do it.

Following God requires thinking and doing. You have to know what is right (this involves your thinking) and you must put that knowledge into action(this involves doing).You can't be a devoted follower of God if you have one aspect without the other. If you intellectually know what is right but fail to act on that knowledge , your life will be ineffective.If you plunge ahead into action  but don't have an understanding of God's truth then your efforts will be misguided. It takes both knowledge and action to pursue God's principles.

God equips you in both of these areas. He has given us His Word-The Bible-so we know what is right and wrong. And He has given us the Holy Spirit to empower our actions.  God is not an event. It's a process. Learn what God wants you to do, and then do it.

Solid food is fro those who are mature,

who have trained themselves to recognize

the difference between right

and wrong and then do what is right.
