Prune whip


1 1/2 to 2 c.prunes
1/4 to /12 c. powered sugar
1/t.lemon juice
2 egg whites beaten stiff

Cook prunes until sot and run them through a fine sieve to get 1  c. pulp. Chill,fold together pulp, sugar, lemon juice and egg whites. Pile lightly into serving blowls and chill. If you can get prunes inside your kids this way, you're doing better than I am. Try some sweetened whip cream on top. It may help. Grandma Signe
